Hour of Power Routine

By Harry haward

I start my Hour of Power at 04:45 Am, as Science has proven we are generally most alert and productive in the morning and through following the routine outlined below, I prime my brain to become energised and in a peak state for performance when I start my day.

1. Begin with 20-30 Minutes of Reading something Motivational or Inspiring.  For me, I like to read books from the likes of John Maxwell or Bob Proctor, as they both provide brilliant advice for personal growth and development.

2. For me, I am a man of faith and like to spend time reading the Bible, as this gives me the Spiritual balance I need within my day.  This usually takes me 20 Minutes but if faith is not your thing, proceed to step 3.

3. Do 20 Minutes of exercise - Sometimes I like to add a bit of variety to my routine, and follow a programme like doing 100 Press Ups or I will do 20 Minutes on the Rowing Machine.  You can choose whatever form of exercise you like.

4. Finish with Meditation, for me, I like to follow a simple Meditation for balancing my Chakra's, which essentially are points of energy within the body.  I find that listening to this cleanses my mind and keeps me focused.  You can listen to it by clicking the link below:
